ENERGY EFFICIENT RADIANT HEATING SYSTEMS, SINCE 1979

Tubing Manifolds

We have two kinds of Tubing Manifolds to choose from.

Concrete Slab Manifolds

These manifolds are used for placing radiant tubing within a concrete slab.

This manifold is designed to sit on top of the insulation, wire mesh or rebar before you pour the concrete. Once the tubing is installed, you will put the faceplate back on the box. Then, simply pour the concrete around the manifold box. We designed the manifold this way so the tubing doesn’t have to come up out of the concrete where it is often damaged and exposed to UV rays. UV rays over time are harmful to Pex tubing.

Comes with:
A 10-piece plywood box to:

  • Keep the concrete away from the copper
  • Protect everything during construction
  • Maintain access to the fittings.

Pressure testing equipment including: pressure gauge, air stem (tire type), air vent, and adaptor fittings from plastic tubing to copper. The box is taken apart and discarded after construction, leaving the manifold in a “manifold well.” Individual shut off valves are included on both sides of each circuit.

Manufactured by Radiantec out of copper with brass fittings. These manifolds go through an extensive testing procedure (12 hours @ 100 psi) to make sure they arrive at your door in perfect working order.

Assembled with compression fittings so this manifold is ready to go and no special tools are required!

Wall Mount Tubing Manifolds

Wall manifolds are designed to be mounted on the wall as opposed to being placed in the concrete. It is typically used for staple-up applications or for those systems where tubing has already been installed in the slab but not connected to anything.

Pressure testing equipment including: pressure gauge, air stem (tire type), air vent, and adaptor fittings from plastic tubing to copper. Also, individual shut off valves are included on both sides of each circuit for easy isolation and for purging the air.

Manufactured by Radiantec out of copper with brass fittings, these manifolds go through rigid testing procedure (12 hours @ 100 psi) to make sure they arrive at you door in perfect working order.

Assembled with compression fittings so this manifold is ready to go and no special tools are required!
