Description

7″ wide x 16″ long and preformed for 7/8″ tubing but they can also be used with 1/2″ and 5/8″ tubing.

Heat Transfer Plates are used in “staple up systems” where the floor is warmed by placing heating tubes underneath the floor.

The heat transfer plates then wrap around the heating tube and attach to the under side of the floor by using an electric staple gun.

Heat transfer plates perform three important functions.

1. They help to carry heat away from the tubing and distribute it through the joist space and along the floor. (Heat transfer)
2. They support the plastic heat exchanger tubing.
3. They greatly reduce heat loss in the downward direction (backloss).
